RightSize HVAC follows the steady-state heat transfer principles used in code-compliant block load sizing. It produces accurate, defensible sizing results, but it is not a certified compliance document generator.
Does it account for infiltration and ventilation?
Yes. Infiltration, ventilation, internal gains, and solar contributions are calculated explicitly and shown in the load breakdown. Nothing is applied automatically and nothing is hidden.
What about duct losses or distribution adjustments?
RightSize HVAC focuses on delivered load sizing. Optional distribution adjustments are explicit and user-controlled. The tool does not apply hidden multipliers.
